Lubbock Chronic Wound Biofilm Model.

LCWB is a fantastic multi-species biofilm model that provides one of the most realistic environments to simulate a chronic wound associated pathogenic biofilm. We have incorporate the primary wound pathogens including anaerobes into this aerobic chronic wound model making it the first multi-species environment that is able to create and immulate the type of chronic wound we see every day in the clinic. This model responds in a realistic fashion to known biofilm treatments. Molecular and analytical tools have been developed along with the model that allow not only evaluation and quantitation of the different populations within the model system but also allow for realistic evaluation of gene expression. With this model we can evaluate biofilm treatments to identify how they effect individual populations within the biofilm. THis model provides accurate subjective analysis along with objective measurements and molecular evaluations. No other group can give you such a valuable contribution to your biofilm agent evaluation needs at such a reasonable cost.
